Our Story
The idea of OurSymbio formed when I was seeing such increased tension and polarization amongst the people and a country I loved so much. I was always a person that could get along with anybody, from all walks of life, and did so with an honest interest in their stories. I saw everyone as a book of stories, and it became a personal challenge for me to get a good story out of anybody I met. And, I never lost the challenge by, simply, asking a lot of honest questions. Most importantly, TRUE connections were always made. I didn't know if, but I was, literally, finding the connection with people by interviewing them.
It's time for social media to grow up! Let's have a real conversation.
Like anything, social media is going through its growth phases, so it (kind of) makes sense that we would find ourselves in this high school stage, with popularity contents and criticisms of people that are different from us. But, now, is the time we elevate to adult conversations and behaviors in social media. Our best memories is what we want to be remembered for, anyways; not the polished, fake, shallow or superficial content that we are often posting, currently.
As our divides get worse and worse, depression increases to record levels, school shootings a regular occurrence and people stopping to, even, tolerate others (all magnified by the current social media platforms), I knew this had to be my cause. Everybody was talking about a cure, but nobody has an answer. We will put the power of digital content production and monetization alongside that honest curiosity in finding peoples stories to build the first mass 'social-interview-network'. We want to start a social media revolution / a quality-content revolution / a kindness revolution. Let's do our part to heal this country.

Our Mission
OurSymbio's mission is to spark a revolution to find a story and the humanity within everybody.
Our mission is to connect people more deeply through an incentivized interview process where we all search for each other's most important stories. Our mission is to offer a counterbalance to the often self-serving, shallow or negative social media platforms polarizing this country and creating the deepest signs of depression this country has ever seen. Record loneliness, isolation, anxiety, suicide rates, addiction, school-shootings... we are out of balance and we all need to DO SOMETHING, now.
We need BETTER FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
Our mission is to incentivize and inspire people to write or record their best life stories AND interview others for their important stories. Both acts have such positive, therapeutic effect on your inner calmness, pride and accomplishment. Our best interviewers will become 'creators' in a more highly respected genre all of their own. Their honest curiosity in others will bring *M.O.R.E.* benefits than they could ever bring solely being about themselves.
It is our mission to inspire content creation and personal connections everywhere we go and with everything we do. We will be embedding ourselves at amazing cultural events and scour the best culture sources and to help pull important stories out of the hearts and minds of our audience.

So, we're partnering with great podcasts you love to help spread the questions and help spark this revolution! They raise thousands and thousands of topics and questions which their audiences, passionately, want to engage with further. As an incentivized companion, this is a beautiful win/win/win. This is not about us. This is all about who you are.
And, everybody from the designers, to the developers, to our sales team, to the video crew, to the finance and legal departments - we all embrace this mission and believe in the vision of a reconnected society. This team, literally, believes they can change the world for the better and it's crazy (enough) people like us that, hopefully, will. We are diverse, optimistic, energetic and excited to be getting America STRONG, TOGETHER, again! And, we live this mission everyday - every meeting starts with personal questions for each other.
